Vans trainers are produced by an American company that specialises in mens trainers for street sports such as BMX and skateboarding. As well as this, they produces clothing and accessories for the same activities.

The company has been producing footwear since the mid-sixties when they opened their first outlet in California. They have a heritage in being associated by skateboarding and they were the shoe of choice for skateboarders in the seventies. They built on their success in this area to start producing vans trainers for other activities including baseball and basketball.

They continued their association with skateboarding in the nineties by being associated with various events and they also built a large skate park in California.

The brand has a number of their own stores around the world as well as their products being available online. They have a huge range of mens trainers which are as popular now as they ever were.
