Puma trainers are produced by one of Germany’s largest companies. They produce a wide range of mens trainers along with other sportswear and clothing. They have long had an association with sports especially football and have been associated with some of the world’s greatest footballers such as Diego Maradona. As well as the football association, the company has also been involved with sponsoring other sports including some of the best performing athletes at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing.

The company’s links with famous sports stars goes back to the sixties. They produced a trainer to be worn by basketball players that was very popular. Puma is well known around the world and while it is not as large as Adidas or Nike, it is not far behind.

Puma was formed as a business over seventy years ago. It was formed to produce running shoes and had huge success in its early days as producing some of the best running shoes on the market. The original incarnation of the company was from two brother who eventually separated the business to form two separate companies, one was Puma and the other was Adidas.

Like its major competitors, Puma has an iconic logo which is instantly recognisable. The Puma jumping cat is well known around the world. Puma was behind some of the biggest developments in sports footwear such as developing football boots with removable studs.

There are still a huge range of mens Puma trainers available on the market today. They produce everything from fashion trainers for more functional sports footwear. Because the company has such a great history, there is also something of a retro appeal to the brand. They produce many items of sportswear that have a fashionable look due to their retro designs.

Puma is still very associated with sports and football. They sponsored the Italian football team during their win of the world cup in 2006.
